From the Morning Telegram, Elmira, New York, June 4, 1916: Corning, NY, June 3-At the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. & Mrs. J. Merton Barnum at high noon today were wed Miss Rhea Madeline Barnum and John Vincent Beisswanger of Elmira formerly of Gibson. Rev. Harold Stanley Stewart of the First Baptist Church officiated. After a wedding trip they will live in Elmira where the bridegroom works at the American LaFrance shops. The bride who is an estimable young woman formerly was a stenographer at the Corning Glass works.
