From Morning Star, Glens Falls, NY, Monday, May 3, 1897: Death of a Nonagenarian. Moses Barnum, one of the oldest men in this section, died Saturday night, May 1, at eleven o'clock at Fort Ann, where he had been living for a short time past. Mr. Barnum was born at Danville, Vt., September 10, 1805. He moved to Fort Edward many years ago, and resided with his son, M. J. Barnum. His father, Noah Barnum, fought for six years in the revolutionary war, and his brother was in the war of 1812. He is survived by one daughter. Mrs. William E. Brown, and two sons, Moses J., of Fort Edward, and James B. of Fort Ann. The funeral will be attended at one o'clock tomorrow from his late home in Fort Ann.
He also has a gravestone in Fort Ann Cemetery, Fort Ann, Washington, New York.
