A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From The Otsego Farmer, May 15, 1908: On Tuesday afternoon, May 12, 1908, at Middlefield Center, Clarinda Lent, widow of the late Harry G. Barnum passed from earth to her reward. Mrs. Barnum was born in Herkimer County May 8, 1827. She married H. G. Barnum December 29, 1847 whom she survived eight months. For more than sixty years she was always identified with the best interests of the community and for many years a faithful member of the church working and planning for its best good at all times. She is survived by two sons, Daniel A. and Harry Eugene, and one grandson, Lewis. Interment in the village cemetery.
