Information on Hial Heath and family provided by: Joan Heath Vierling, 48 Durand Blvd. Rochester, NY 14622.

Hial Heath was killed in the Civil War. He died July 9, 1864 of wounds received at Wilderness on May 6, 1864. He is buried in Old Alexandria, Virginia cemetery Grave # 2371 Section "A". He was a member of Company "H" 143rd Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment and listed as Private. In the cemetery he is listed as Hill Heath.
