See Find A Grave memorials #28255774 and #28255805 for links to Joshua and Ann Barnum's children - In 1868 this line of the Barnum family migrated from Newstead Township, Erie County, New York to Cedar Township, Callaway County, Missouri. Joshua Barnum Jr. possibly belonged to the 'Friends' church. Ann B. Brosius' family were Lutherans from Lower Mahoney Township in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. The Barnums belonged to the Prospect Methodist Church in Cedar City, Callaway County, Missouri, where Joshua and Ann are buried in the quaint Old Prospect M.E. Cemetery. Many of their descendants were Baptist and are buried in the Union Hill Baptist Cemetery in Fulton. (Cedar City and Fulton are ten miles south of Jefferson City, Missouri).
From the Callaway Weekly Gazette, Fulton, Missouri, August 22, 1884: Barnum - At his residence three miles west of New Bloomfield, on August 14, 1884, Joshua Barnum aged about 59 years.
