Ann's 1914 obituary listed children Ross, Alice and Hattie, not listed in the 1860 US Census. The 1900 Missouri Census shows a family group consisting of: Ann Barnum, 71, b. New York, both parents b. Pennsylvania; Ross Barnum, 29, b. New York, both parents b. New York and Lula Barnum (granddaughter), 17, b. Missouri, father b. New York.
From the Fulton Gazette, 26 Feb 1914: Mrs. Joshua Barnum Dead...Mrs. Ann Barnum, 85 years old, widow of the late Joshua Barnum, died at her home three miles southwest of New Bloomfield last Thursday...The family moved to Missouri many years ago and settled on the farm where Mrs. Barnum died...Rev. Mr. Ellington officiating, burial took place in the Prospect Cemetery...
