From The News and Tribune, Jefferson City, Missouri, 25 February 1934: Charles Barnum, 76, of New Bloomfield, died Friday at his home in Williamsburg, Kansas of paralysis. He was born and reared in Callaway Co. and went to Kansas to reside more than 35 years ago. His widow, three sons, Herbert, James and Fred, a daughter, Myrtle, a sister, Mrs. Henry Rice of this city and three brothers Ross, Allen and C.F. (Cyreneus) Barnum all of Cedar City survive.
