Burial Record Danville Congregational Church, Village of Danville, Shipton Twp. Richmond County, Québec: Simeon Flint, son of Milo S. Barnum of Danville, and Abigail Flint his wife, aged nine years and nine month died on the sixth day of March and was buried on the sixth day of March eighteen hundred and fifty nine. Signed: A. J. Parker, Minister; Milo S. Barnum, Michael Lynch and (Kendell?) Flint. (his tombstone transcription reads 9 yr 9 mo 7 d).
On 5 Apr 2007, descendant Mary Ann Meeker noted: "[T]his is still somewhat of a puzzle, because if he was nine yrs and nine mos and 7 dys at death on March 6 1859 that would make him born May 30th not July 30th. I looked again at the original records and it definitely says July 30 for birth and March 6 for death. Apparently the age noted at death was incorrect. He was in his 8th month, but would not have reached 9 months until the 30th March. I guess you could have said he was in his 9th month and that could have caused the confusion."
he was buried in the Anglican Church Cemetery.
