Albany County, NY; married Lucy M. Barnum, October 15, 1861. Removed to Binghamton, NY in 1883. Children: Cora B. b. East Maine, NY, April 6, 1876

Seth was the brother of Jane Gallup who married Silas Gould Barnum. Seth and Silas were both in the same unit in the Civil War. Seth is listed in Census records with the middle initial “W” which stood for Williams, his mother’s maiden name.
Seth and Lucy and their daughter Minnie are listed in the 1900 census in Binghamton, NY. Cora married a man named Keeler.
After the death of his wife, Seth moved to Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida where he apparently remarried twice. Seth Williams Gallup died there in 1930 according to the Florida Death index.
Lucy Gallup died in 1909 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Union, Broome County, NY.
