Mrs. Barnum, 91, of Medford, died Thursday (Nov. 5, 1993) at a Grants Pass retirement center.

She was born May 10, 1902, in Manchester, England. The family came to the United States in 1903, traveling by train across Canada to Portland in 1905. They moved to Medford in 1908 where she graduated from high school.
In 1935 she married George A. Barnum, who died in 1974.
From 1935 to 1845 she worked for Pacific Telephone and Telegraph.
She was a member of Saint Mark's Episcopal Church and sang in its choir. Previously she had been a member of Daughters of the Nile and Rogue Valley Country Club.
Survivors include a step-son, George C. Barnum, Medford; two nieces, including Julie Mimitaugh, Grants Pass, and three nephews, including William Heath, Klamath Falls.
