A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Putnam County Courier, May 28, 1980: Miss Margaret E. Pugsley, 62, of South St., Patterson, died May 20 at Putnam Community Hospital, Carmel, after a six-month illness. She was born April 24, 1918, in Danbury, Connecticut, daughter of the late Lewis and Jane Boynton Pugsley. Miss Pugsley was the owner and operator of the W.O. Taylor Insurance Agency, Patterson, for many years. She was a past
President, treasurer and trustee of the Patterson Library and a member of the Patterson Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Ward of Pawling and Miss Eloise Pugsley of Patterson; three nephews, and a niece. Private funeral services took place at the Dwyer Funeral Home, South Street, Patterson. Burial was in Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson.
