From a newspaper clipping from an unidentified Oswego, NY paper: Jane Brookser Barnum, St. Petersburg, Fla., widow of Frank W. Barnum, died July 6 in St. Petersburg hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Barnum was born in Buffalo on Dec. 25, 1878. Mr. and Mrs. Barnum were married in Buffalo Nov. 16, 1910 and made their home in Walkins until October 1915, when Mr. Barnum purchased the drug store located at 27 East Bridge St. from the late Archibald Maclntyre. He continued in business until September 1943 when he retired. The Barnum residence was at 62 East Mohawk St., but for many years they wintered in Florida and in 1954 sold their home here and purchased property in St. Petersburg where Mr. Barnum died March 29, 1956. While in Oswego the Barnums were active members of Grace Presbyterian church. Mrs. Barnum was also a member of the Winter club. Survivors are a brother, sister, nephews and nieces. Burial was in St. Petersburg.
