A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname


Notes for Cecilia BARRAZA

Although her surnames were actually Barraza Peńa, the family chose to reverse them and substitute Romero for Barraza because the Romero family was more well to do. This change in surnames was then passed down to her children, whose surnames should properly have been Golláz Barraza instead of Golláz Romero.
She died at home of complications resulting from Alzheimer's Disease, from which she had suffered for over ten years. Her age at the time of death was 70 years, 2 months and 14 days.
