Notes for Pearl Tracey BARNUM


He was born in northern Ohio.
Pearl T. Barnum, 76, died Thursday night at his home at 8419 Painesville-Warren Road. Mr. Barnum was born Jan. 6, 1892 in Hambden, Ohio. He was a son of Willis H. and Emma Davis Barnum. He married first to Maude H. Morse on May 4, 1912, and second, to Clara Maynard Feb. 13, 1931 in Chardon. He was a truck driver for the State of Ohio for 17 years and had a small farm. Mr. Barnum was a member of Montville Grange 666. He is survived by his wife Clara, two sons, Everett, of Thompson and Melvin, of Middlefield; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Gladys) Covell, of Madison and Mrs. Andrew (Betty) Miller, of Tempe, Ariz. Also surviving are a stepson, Robert Cook, of Painesville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Felix (Ruth) Kivela, of Concord; two brothers, Hugh, of Unionville; and Leon, of Ashtabula; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children.
