From the Utica Daily Press, November 26, 1915: A very pretty wedding took place yesterday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. Barnum (Utica) when their son John M. was married to Gertrude Schmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Schmidt of North Genesee Street. They were attended by Roy F. Barnum brother of the groom and Grace Schmidt sister of the bride.
