'The Barnum Family, 1517-1904' carries the note that Daniel E. Barnum "m. (1) *Sarah W. Barnum, Wickens or Williams." There is no corresponding note for the asterisk. The same source says that her (2nd) husband was Daniel Starr. According to the 'Genealogical Record of the Barnum Family,' Sarah Williams married Daniel Barnum (1791-1881) following the death of her (1st) husband, Lewis Barnum (1789-1822). Those two were first cousins.
