Notes for William SOAME
From Burke's A genealogical and heraldic history of the extinct and dormant baronetcies: Sir William Soame, Knt, who was sheriff of Suffolk in the 8th of Charles I, m. first, Bridget, fourth daughter and co-heir of Benedict Barnham, esq. an alderman of London, and by that lady had issue, Stephen, William (Sir), Thomas, John, Matthew, Barnham, Bartholomew, and Edmund. Sir William's second wife was named Smith, but he does not appear to have had any other issue.
