Barnum, Sarah; 22; F; Wh; Housewife; Married; b. England; Father and mother of foreign birth
Barnum, Mabel; 1; F; Wh; b. Washington; Mother of foreign birth
Barnum, Baby [Cora]; 1/12; F; Wh; b. Washington; Mother of foreign birth; b. Feb.

In the 1880 US Census for District 7, Seattle, King County, Washington the enumeration of this family included Perry's father, Melvin C. Barnum and his half-brother Americus.

The family was also enumerated in the Washington State Censuses for the years 1880, 1881, 1882, 1883, 1887, 1889 and 1892.

In the 1900 US Census for Seattle, Washington the family consisted of just Perry, Sarah and Cora.

In the 1910 US Census for Seattle Perry was enumerated as follows:

P E Barnun (sic), Male, 56, Married, White, Head of Household, Birth Year (Estimated)1854, Birthplace Michigan, Father's Birthplace Michigan, Mother's Birthplace New York

By 1920 Perry and Sarah were living alone.
