Elisha B. Kimball resided at 59 Frost Ave in Rochester, Monroe, NY in 1888/89. He was a Baker, Confectioner and Ice Cream Maker during those years. His business was located at 198 Plymouth Ave., Rochester. In 1900 he was a Baker, Proprietor in Oakland, Alameda, CA.; the proprietor of the Oakland, California, Baking Co. He manufactured a special kind of cracker known as the Kimball Butter Cracker.
