It is suggested that the reader also review the family of Comfort Barnum (born 1744). His son Zalmon Barnum (1772-1844) also had sons named David, Albert (born 1812), and William. This may be a coincidence, of course, but the source document for the above family group has proven unreliable and must generally be viewed with caution.
