from the Kingston Daily Freeman, Kingston, NY, June 26, 1950: Adelaide M. Barnum, 70, a former resident of Kingston, NY, died in Beacon, NY, Sunday, June 25. A daughter of the late Addison and Anne B. Knight Dederick, she was born in Kingston on February 6, 1881. Besides her husband, Frank W. Barnum, she leaves a son, Paul E. Barnum of Kingston; two daughters, Ruth D. Barnum of Thiells, and Mrs. Vera E. Goertz of Wheeling, West Va.
They moved from Kingston to Beacon in 1932. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 28, at 2 p. m. at the Beacon Reformed Church. Burial will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
