From the Atlanta Constitution of April 23, 1922: Announcement is made of the death of Mrs. Martha Richards Barnum, wife of Richard L. Barnum, who was formerly railroad editor of the New York Evening Post and present New York financial correspondent of the Atlanta Constitution, on April 19, 1922 at her residence in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Besides her husband, Mrs. Barnum is survived by a son, Bushrod T. Barnum.
