Notes for Samuel Ray BARNUM

Samuel Ray Barnum, son of Isaac Barnum and Melissa Mauk was born August 16, 1885 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania (WWI and WWII Draft Registration Cards). He married Margie Adell Root, daughter of Homer Root and Maria Hulse on June 11, 1910 in Trumbull County, Ohio (Ohio Marriage Records). His Ohio death certificate states that his death occurred June 11, 1942 in Howland, Trumbull County, Ohio. He was buried in Howland Township Cemetery. In 1930, the family was enumerated in Howland, Trumbull County, Ohio.
They had six children: Hazel Marie 6/29/1911-11/18/1990 (SSDI); Annabelle 9/10/1914-2/14/1991 (SSDI); Alta 4/26/1916-5/18/2006 (SSDI); James 4/26/1916-8/9/1988 (SSDI); Donald 5/10/1919-8/12/2009; and Stella Rae b. about 1927.
Samuel was a twin of Olive.
