From the Chicago Tribune, Dec. 17, 1969: Services for William Edward Barnum, 52, of Beloit, Wisconsin, news director for radio station WGEZ Detroit will be held tomorrow. Mr. Barnum died Sunday in Veteran's Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin. Before joining the station, he was a photographer for the Beloit Daily News. His late father Harry was an attorney in Chicago. Surviving are a son, Robert; his mother Edith and a sister.
