Notes for Belle BARNUM
From the Oshkosh Daily Northwesterner, Monday, August 7, 1939: Waupaca, Wis.- The funeral of Mrs. Belle Chamberlain, 74, who died late Friday night after a short illness following a fractured hip three weeks ago, was held from the Holly funeral home at 2 o’clock this afternoon. The Rev. Hugh Mindall of the First Methodist Church was in charge of the services with burial at Lakeside Cemetery. Mrs. Chamberlain was born in Waupaca, September 5, 1864, the daughter of Daniel and Eliza Pitcher Barnum. She was married to Elmer Chamberlain from whom she was later divorced. There are no survivors.
