Notes for Josiah Barnum LOCKE


His was living with his parents in the 1840 US Census for Pompey. Enlisted 17 Aug 1861 Saginaw MI; discharged 12 Mar 1863-disability-pension. Corporal, Company "B" , ist Regiment, Michigan Cavalry. He is said to have been a bodyguard for General Banks and an orderly for General Abercrombie. Description: 5'9", blue eyes, light hair.
