Malvern Hill Barnum, descendant of Winslow Brigham and of Daniel Harrington, of Massachusetts; daughter of Edmund Ayres Maginness and Frances Rice, his wife; granddaughter of Abraham Winfield Rice and Abby Wales Albee, his wife.
From the NY Times of 7/25/1958: Barnum, Martha S. M. widow of Maj. Gen. Malvern-Hill Barnum, at her summer home at Nantucket, Mass. on Tuesday, July 22. Burial at West Point.
West Point Cemetery is a historic cemetery on the grounds of the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. It overlooks the Hudson River, and served as a burial ground for American Revolutionary War soldiers and early West Point inhabitants long before 1817 when it was officially designated as a military cemetery.
