From the Virginian-Pilot of May 26, 2004: Audrey Watson Barnum, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Virginia Beach on Saturday, May 22, 2004. Her husband, US Navy Rear Admiral Robert H Barnum predeceased her. Mrs. Barnum was born in Mount Vernon, NY on November 19, 1913. She previously resided in Scarsdale, NY and Saint Michael's, MD. One brother, Alan Watson, two daughters: Sandra Nygaard and Patricia Rich, 3 grandsons and 11 great-grandchildren all of Virginia Beach survive Mrs. Barnum.
