From the Sarasota Herald-Tribune (Florida), March 14, 1998: Maurine Hoover, 89, Venice, Florida died March 11, 1998. She was born Aug. 20, 1908, in Continental, Ohio. She was a legal secretary for a private law firm and a member of Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. Survivors include a daughter, Charleen Parret of Jacksonville; a son, Philip of Apple Valley, Minn.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services and inurnment will be in Milan, Michigan.
