Notes for Mary Anne FITZGERALD

From the Otsego Farmer, Friday, July 23, 1953: The death of Mrs. Mary Anne Barnum, wife of Linus Barnum and a former resident of Cooperstown occurred Saturday in Buffalo. Mrs. Barnum was born in Milford on December 22, 1877, a daughter of John and Mary (Baley) Fitzgerald. She was married to Mr. Barnum on April 15, 1903 in Cooperstown. The couple had lived in Cooperstown, and Youngstown, Ohio, and for the past several years, in Buffalo. Survivors include her husband: and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from St. Mary's Church. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in this village.
