From The Berkshire Eagle, Friday, Aug. 6, 1971: Mrs. Lillie F. Hamilton, 69, wife of Lawrence G. Hamilton of 19 Bishop Pkwy., died at Hillcrest Hospital early this morning of injuries received about three weeks ago in an auto accident on the New York Thruway near Herkimer. Born in Hillsdale, N.Y., she was a longtime resident of Pittsfield. She studied at the Eastman Conservatory of Music and the Juilliard School of Music, later doing special study in preschool music -and class instruction at Smith College.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Hamilton leaves a daughter, Mrs. (Joan) John P. Morrill of Seven Hills, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. M. Ethel Fowler of Lanesboro, Mrs. Florence G. Horn of Pittsfield and Miss Leona H. Barnum of New York City; and two grandsons.
Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery.
