From the Union-News (Springfield, MA), Wednesday, July 6, 1994: Deceased Name: Leona H. Barnum. Leona H. Barnum, 83, of 5101 South West 66th Ave., Miami, Fla., a retired supervisor for American Telephone & Telegraph Co., died on June 12 at home. Born in Stockbridge, she lived here and in the Bronx, N.Y., before moving here a year ago. She worshipped at the First United Methodist Church here, and had performed many hours of volunteer work at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in the Bronx. She leaves a niece, Jean Ketcham, with whom she lived. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday morning in Pittsfield Cemetery. There are no calling hours, and Wellington Funeral Home is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 383 Dwight St., Holyoke, 01040.
