Notes for Anna Mary MALKOWSKY

Anna's surname appears on different documents as Malkowsky, Moskorski, Malkosky and Moskowski. Her descendants believe that Malkowsky is probably the correct spelling.

Family lore suggests that Anna was a twin and that her mother died in a subsequent childbirth. The father remarried and the stepmother sent Anna to the US as a teenager. Anna told her children that she came to help an aunt at the aunt's hotel but no record has been found to confirm that. There is also a feeling that she may have been sent to the US for an arranged marriage.
