Notes for Susie Annie BARNUM


From the Abilene Reporter-News, Abilene, Texas, 10 February 1973: Brownwood |RNS| ̶ Mrs. Susie Annie Henshaw, 84, longtime Brownwood resident, died at 11:05 p.m. Thursday in Brownwood Community Hospital after a long illness. Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Wright-Morclock Colonial Chapel.
The Rev. Ben Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery.
Mrs. Henshaw was born Sept. 8, 1888, in White County, Tenn. She lived in Brownwood 50 years and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. A. L. Dudley of Brownwood and Mrs. B. E. Peel of Bangs; one son, E. H. Henshaw of Brownwood; four brothers, George Barnum and Johnny Barnum, both of Brownwood, Rufus Barnum of Abilene and Melvin Barnum of Georgia; 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
