Notes for Ruth Agnes Harnisch HAUERT

Ruth married John H. Gors (12/13/1887-5/4/1929) on 1/16/1925. John had children from a former marriage to a woman named May (maiden surname unknown; born in 1891). The children were: Edward Gors, born in 1910 (of Rockford, Illinois in 1929), Estelle (Gors) Monday (of Arlington Heights, Illinois in 1929), James Richard Gors (of Mount Prospect in 1929) and perhaps Nellie Gors (5/6/1916-12/4/1917), who is buried next to John in the Oakland Cemetery in Woodstock.

A granddaughter of Ruth Barnum, Tammy Kamholz, is also buried in the family plot in Oakland Cemetery. Tammy died a day after she was born in October 1961. It is known that Tammy’s parents were “Mr. and Mrs. Art Kamholz”, which doesn’t provide the connection to Ruth’s children.
