From the Binghamton Press, New York, Thursday, August 5, 1948: Mrs. M. Estelle Coons, 81, of Harpursville, died Thursday morning at the Binghamton City Hospital. She is survived by five cousins, Frank Thompson of Tunnel, Ralph Thompson of Afton, Mrs. Arthur C. Kark of Saratoga Springs, Mrs. Herbert Williams of Windsor and Miss Caroline E. Thompson of Oriskany; a niece, Mrs. Lloyd Bluler of Bainbridge; and a grandnephew, Roland Bluler of Harpursville, with whom she resided. The body was removed to the Harry G. Karkand Son Funeral Home in Harpursville, where friends may call Friday afternoon and evening.
